Marian LEHMAN Obituary

Spokane - Marian Janice (Amundson) Lehman, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 5, 2023, at the age of 90 in Spokane Valley, WA. Marian was born in Blooming Prairie, MN, to Sydney and Evelyn Amundson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roger. Though raised a farm girl, Marian loved being an Air Force wife to her beloved husband Col. Charles A. Lehman, and all the travel and adventure involved. After Chuck's retirement in 1985, the couple continued to travel well into 2023. The family was of utmost importance to Marian, and she cherished the time spent with her children, Deyonne Bates (husband Ted Bates), Greg Lehman (wife Stefani Lehman), and Susan Lehman (husband Andrew Bosak). Marian's grandchildren are Brianna Dauenhauer and Kyle Bates, Carson and Nicholas Lehman, and Krista and Zachary Bosak. Her great-grandchildren are Marian Dauenhauer and Loewen Lehman. She is also survived by brothers, Marvin and Gordon Amundson; and her sister, Geri Felstul. Marian dedicated much of her life to church activities wherever she and Chuck lived, most recently at First Presbyterian Church in Spokane. A memorial service honoring Marian's life was held at First Presbyterian Church in Spokane, on December 4, 2023. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse in Marian's memory.
