Michael EHRMANTROUT Obituary

Michael E Ehrmantrout, 54, of Spokane, WA passed away on July 7, 2022. Michael was born on July 28, 1967, in Coeur d'Alene, ID to Judy Wayne and Milo Ehrmantrout. He graduated from Roger's High School in Spokane in 1985 before entering the United States Army and retiring as a Sergeant E-5.

Michael married Shari Irving in 1985 and the couple had 4 children together. He was a Combat Veteran of the Gulf War and participated and volunteered for many mental health support groups and the Veteran's Hospital for much of his life.

Michael enjoyed music and writing, but perhaps nothing more than sharing his love of the Lord, Jesus Christ with others. His family and friends will always remember him as a passionate, funny, and loving person.

Michael is survived by his wife Shari; his children Ryan (Emily), Christi (Victor), Mikey (Alonna), and C.J. (Kylie); along with his 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Terri and Father Milo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy, and his brother Tim.

Celebration of life is scheduled for 10 AM on 7/27/2022 at Heritage Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael's life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the PTSD Foundation of America which provides whole-person treatment for Combat Veterans.

Mike - way back in high school - was a huge eye-opening friend. He was the turning point in my life to find my own relationship with Christ. Mine. Not my family or a church ideology. To become a spiritual being rather than a religious one. Am very sorry life sent us different directions, and I didn't try harder to keep in touch.

Shari - gods....I'm so sorry to see this. You and I were in both Jazz and Accapella choirs together at Rogers. Mike was such an awesome guy that loved and spread the word of our Lord. I considered him my Brother. I've just been looking up the people that meant something to me in my past and found this. My heart is broken. He was such a GOOD man. Blessings Sister. We didn't always get along, but I would never wish this pain on my worst enemies. You'll be together some day.
