DeLaTorre, Michele Susan
(Age 71)
God called our mother, Michele Susan DeLaTorre, home on April 8, 2018, after a prolonged illness. Mikki was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Dorethy Brown, her brother Dick Brown and her late husband, Lewis Daugherty. She is survived by her current husband, Walter Lane, her children Karin Lisa Lucas (Steve), Robert Severino (Ruth), 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, sister Fran Mann, brother Jim Brown, sister Bonnie Huhn, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Mikki spent most of her life working as a medical transcriptionist/secretary, working at St. Lukes Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital and Holy Family Hospital. She also owned and operated Mikki D's Bar and Grill with her husband, Lew, after retirement. She had a great love for her children, and always made family a priority.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4515 N. Alberta, Spokane, WA 99207. There will be a reception to follow.
