Mindy WILSON Obituary
Mindy is survived by her husband, Ryan Wilson; and their two young daughters, Brooke and Faye. Motherhood brought Mindy immense joy. She lived for her daughters. They made her want to be the best version of herself.
Mindy attended Cheney High School graduating in 2006. After high school, she attended Eastern Washington University where she pursued a degree in teaching special education. Mindy was the teacher who befriended the students without friends. She made it her mission to spread joy and to shine a bright light on those in need.
Mindy was devoted to advocating for individuals with disabilities, children, and immigrants. Mindy was excited to continue dedicating her life to increased advocacy, equitable access to resources, and compassion within Spokane and our nation.
Mindy was a lover of animals. One of her favorite things was witnessing baby bunnies being born and watching them grow alongside their mommas. She loved her bunnies as well as her dogs. They were all a special part of her family.
Mindy had many special talents. She had a green thumb and her home was never lacking in greenery. She has plants everywhere in her home and shares starters with anyone who has an interest. Mindy was an avid baker and she loved to share her sourdough and focaccia bread with friends.
Mindy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who knew her. May she rest in peace and may her spirit continue to inspire us to help those in need with the same passion and resilience that Mindy exemplified in her life.
Join us in remembering Mindy at her visitation at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way on Friday, February 16 from 2-4 pm. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 17th at Northern Quest Casino.

This is her daughter Brooke we all miss my mom she was nice kind and loving the best mom I could ever have we wish she is still here but she is in a better place

I was so saddened to hear about Mindy's sudden passing. Mindy and I used to work together and became friends long ago. Mindy was extremely caring and generous with her time and always ready to have fun. She was very funny and had a laugh that turned heads. Mindy had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She spent countless hours tutoring me in Math in college even though she was much younger than me and had better things to do. I know I am not the only one she offered and dedicated her talents and time to. I remember her as a vivacious, enthusiastic, very sweet, energetic and fun-loving person. This is incredibly tragic and hard to believe. I am so heartbroken for her little family and her community. It's very clear that she made an unforgettable impression on this world and positively impacted so many. I know she will be forever remembered and missed. She and her family didn't deserve this. I am so, so deeply sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace and in the comfort in knowing she was so loved.

I will miss her so much at the SGI Buddhist meetings . I´m so shocked to hear this news and so sad and broken hearted . I will chant abundant diamoku immensely for her family and her life .
