Mitchell Jay Orsi, D.D.S., 65, of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, in Spokane.

Born on May 8, 1960, in Spokane to RaNae and the late Frank Orsi, Mitch grew up in the Spokane Valley, where he graduated from Central Valley High School in 1978. He went on to attend Washington State University, graduating in 1982, before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Science at the University of Washington, which he completed in 1986.

Mitch returned home to Spokane, where he faithfully served the community as a dentist at Manito Family Dentistry for over 30 years. He valued the relationships he built with his patients and colleagues and took great pride in providing compassionate care.

Beyond his professional life, Mitch was a devoted son, brother, and father. He was known for his kind and loving nature, always putting family first. He found joy in cheering on his beloved WSU Cougars, fly-fishing the rivers of the Northwest, golfing with friends, and hunting in the outdoors he cherished.

Mitch is survived by his children, Jack Orsi and Michelle Orsi; his mother, RaNae Orsi; his brother, Todd Orsi; and his sisters, Denise (Loren) Beale and Karen Orsi. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Orsi Jr.

The family will be honoring Mitch privately and will not be holding a formal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his name. Mitch will be remembered for his generosity, warmth, and steadfast love for his family and community. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
