Norma KRAMER Obituary

Norma J. Kramer peacefully passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on June 1, 1930, to Carrie and Albert Nauditt, she spent her early years on the family farm near Marcellus, north of Ritzville. Norma graduated from Ritzville High School in 1948 and married Albert Kramer the same year, moving to the Kramer farm where they raised two daughters, Vicki and Debbi.

As a devoted wife and mother, Norma dedicated herself to her family and home. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Ritzville and worked at Pfann's Pharmacy before joining the Adams County Health Department. Norma was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star, where she found great joy and made numerous friends through her extensive travels, including serving as a Washington State Grand Officer and representing Eastern Star in Puerto Rico. Norma cherished watching her grandchildren grow up, eventually becoming a proud great-grandmother to four. In June 2017, as dementia began to affect her independence, she moved to assisted living in Spokane and later transitioned to memory care.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Bruce) of Ritzville and Debbi of Spokane; her grandchildren, Ryan (Stacy) and Kimberly; and great-grandchildren, Carsen and Payten Benzel, and Natialie and Lucy Valley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al, her parents, and her brother, Harley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, at 1pm, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, in Ritzville. Prior to the service, burial will take place at noon at the Ritzville Memorial Cemetery. Donations in Norma's memory may be made to the H. E. Gritman Senior Center, PO Box 523, Ritzville, WA 99169.
