Patrick NEWMAN Obituary
Born April 16th, 1960 in Pierre, South Dakota. Moved to Spokane, WA in 1966. Youngest of 4 children, born to Rodney Willard (deceased) and Darlene Delores Newman. Siblings Kathleen Ann Cunningham, Vickie Rae Ruthven and Michael Robert Newman (Shelley), several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Patrick was a graduate of Mead High School class of 1978 in Spokane, WA. Patrick married the love of his life, best friend, and soul mate Yvonne Rosella on July 7th of 2010. She has 3 children Annette, Aaron and Nathanael Farrell. His buddies sure gave him a lot of grief for finally leaving the "Bachelors Club", the longest holdout at age 50.
Patrick retired as a 20 year Forklift Driver/ Stocker from Costco Wholesale, N. Spokane #66. Remembered for his infectious sense of humor, practical jokes, incredible trivia knowledge and hard work. He always would say, "Work smarter not harder". He especially loved his friends, children and had great respect for our Veterans.
He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, fishing, boating, hiking, camping, music and his well worn collection of guitars. To satisfy his need for speed he loved his Harley and anything with two wheels and a motor. He had a special relationship with nature and a deep love for animals, especially his Fur babies. Patrick will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A viewing for Patrick will be held on Friday February 17, 2023 from 3 to 7pm and a funeral service will be held Saturday February 18, 2023 at 11:30am at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory 2203 N. Division St. Spokane, WA 99207. Following the funeral service a graveside service will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park at 2pm. There will be a celebration of life on April 16, 2023 with details to be announced later. If you would like to contribute towards a fund for Patrick's headstone please consider donating to Inland Monument Co. 2724 E Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99202.

I´m so sorry I just now learned you have passed away my friend. We lost contact over the last 7 years for no reason other than just life itself. I´ve always missed fishing with you and having you over to eat oysters on the grill and drink some beer. I do however don´t miss pushing you on your Harley that night to get you going. Thank god it only happened once. I love you brother!! I would say rest in peace, but I know you are having a good time with everyone who has been waiting for you!!

Rest in Peace. I first meet Pat at Costco,we been friends ever since. So many memories! We would go fishing at different lakes & drink Beer. Even after he met Yvonne. And meeting her kids. I remember taking a long trip to get his new boat. We had fun together! Pat was a good fisherman, he caught a lot of fish. He would show up at my house showing his new puppy. He will be missed!
