During his 7th grade math class he said that algebra can be used to make life decisions. I never forgot that and he is right.

I met Ralph when I was a 7th grader when his son Dan and I become lifelong friends. Ralph put up with no monkey business when it came to his kids and their friends. At 6´8" he intimidated the hell out of me and rightfully so. He new how to straighten out a teenager in a hurry. Although he kept us on the up and up, he did so because he cared and wanted to make us respectable human beings. Later in life he became a teddy bear and it was always a joy to hear him tell the stories of us kids and our adventures. I will greatly miss him and I can tell you he was a great man.

For many years a group of friends would meet at Jack and Dan's Tavern every Wednesday for lunch. Ralph was always happy and fun to talk to. I will miss him.
