Randy NICHOLL Obituary

NICHOLL, Randy Leroy

Randy Leroy Nicholl died at 4:20am on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from injuries sustained from being struck by a hit and run driver on Division Street in N. Spokane while walking to catch his bus.
Randy was born May 7, 1956 in Fort Ord, California. His parents moved to Spokane, WA. When he was 10 years old. Where he lived out the rest of his life. He graduated from Joseph Jantsch High School and began working immediately after graduation. He took much pride in his work. He spent many years working in the kitchen at Gonzaga University, 10 years with Career Connections and eight years with Skills Skin Working on the Fairchild Airforce base in Airway Heights.
Randy was very much a people person full of energy, life and adventure. He especially loved traveling, sports and music. He was an avid snow skier, skiing with the Powder Hounds ski team on Mt. Spokane, and enjoyed bowling with the Wolf Pack team. Randy was especially talented, winning many awards and trophy's while running on the track team with Special Olympics at the Fort Lewis Air Force Base in Tacoma, WA. He never missed a year. Randy had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Every Sunday morning Randy enjoyed attending his church Turning Point in N. Spokane. He loved it there and the congregation, in turn, loved him.
Randy's never ending sense of humor made him a pleasure to be with. He was a very special soul and a gift to everyone he met. Everywhere he went he made friends easily and people fell in love with him. He had the sweetest and kindest spirit. And he made a special impact upon those that he came in contact with. He was loved by people everywhere he went. Although he will be greatly missed, we take great joy knowing that he is in the arms of his loving Abba Father. A whole person and free of all disability.
Randy is survived by his parents Alvin and Judy Nicholl, his brother John Nicholl and sisters Lori Nicholl and Ronnel Batts.
A memorial will be held at Turning Point Church, 11911 N. Division at 11:00am on Saturday, April 15th.

I knew Randy through his friend Kim Kelogg. They were great friends back in the day when I worked with Kim. They lived in the same apartment bldg. This was a shock and he will be missed by all.

Though Randy is now in heaven
I know the angels rejoice he is home.
With all his accomplishments on earth,
I know God is saying, '"Randy well done."

May each soul he touched here,
Be remembered and treasured so.
Randy we loved you so much.
We hate to let you go.

May God be with the family now.
Give them a peace and settled hearts.
Randy we shall rejoice in heaven some day.
Where we will never again part.

He is just away without pain.
He sits at the Saviors throne.
God has healed and made him perfect.
I love you Randy. Welcome home.
