Ruby, Russ, Randy & Family, I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Ray, I saw him a few years ago at the Northeast Community Center when I was working there, Ray had come in for Senior Drivers training, talked with him for a little bit, was good to see him then. Ray had asked about Rich and I told him that Rich lives in Belgium. I emailed Ray's obituary to Rich. There are many memories of Ray from Boy Scouts, those were good times.

Russ/Linda and Randy/Kim- How fortunate to have your father around for such a long time. Now you will need to fight it out to see who is the new man of the family. Remember all the good times.

Grandpa Raymond will be missed so much by all of us who knew him. He was such a dear, kind-hearted, and wise man and we were so lucky to have him and Ruby as part of our life. Family holidays and get-together's will never be the same without Raymond, Gerald and Irene sitting around telling their wonderful stories! He always had a smile, and was a great conversationalist. oh, and then there was the on-going competition each summer between himself and Jerry as to who had the first and biggest tomato harvest!!! He always won - hands down!! He was a wonderful Grandpa to our children as well as his very own - April & Rusan. We will miss you Grandpa Raymond and will be forever grateful for the honor of knowing you! Your memory will stay in our hearts forever! All our love to Ruby, Russ & Linda, Randy & Kim, April & Mike, Peyton, Avery, Rusan & Kyle, Braden & Logan. He had a long and wonderful life and an amazing and beautiful family! He was truly blessed and was a blessing!

What an amazing long life Raymond lived! My best memories of Raymond (and Ruby) are when we've always been included in the Poage family events and we loved visiting with Raymond and Ruby. We are of that generation that truly enjoys and appreciates the elder members of families. They have so many interesting stories and experiences to share. One really special memory was of Raymond's 100th birthday party. Raymond was loved and so well cared for by his sons, daughter's in law and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sending our love to all of you, Raymond's family. We will see you at the service Tuesday.
