Robert GRAHAM Obituary

Robert (Bob) Francis Graham, age 92, of Diamond Lake, Washington passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1932, in Spokane, Washington. He was a devoted husband to Nellie for 72 years and a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Bob was raised in Spokane and attended St Augustine's and Gonzaga High School. Bob and Nellie met in 1950, were married in 1953 and had eight children. Bob and Nellie's love was a once in a lifetime love. Their love endured all the true tests of time. All that know them recognize their devotion as an inspiration. They moved to Diamond Lake full time in May 1982 - many wonderful memories were made at Diamond Lake where friends would gather, and family continues to enjoy.

Bob was hard working and dedicated. He owned Graham Oil and Graham Tire, and later worked for Pend Oreille Sheriff's office and many of his later years at the Diamond Lake Water and Sewer District.

When he wasn't working, he was working in the woods or fishing. Bob was truly one of a kind and left an impression on everyone he met. His infectious sense of humor made everyone around him smile. God certainly broke the mold when He made him.

Bob was a proud veteran of the Navy Reserve. Serving as a signal man on the USS Hancock during the Korean War.

Bob spent the last 53 years of his life walking a path of recovery. His courage was an inspiration to all who knew him. One of his proudest achievements was his dedication to sobriety and the growth he experienced over 53 years. He was a beacon of hope to many in his community. He will be profoundly missed by all those whose lives he enriched through his many years of sponsorship and mentorship. He is also survived by the many individuals he proudly sponsored and affected over the years, a testament to his compassionate and giving spirit.

Preceded in death by his parents Anne and Robert Graham and two sons, Steve and Jerry. He is survived by his wife Nellie, his sons Chris and Dennis (Shelly) and daughters Debbie (Bill), Cindi (Jim), Laurie, and Terri (Tutter); grandkids Issac, Nicole (Ryan), Brittnee (Bryce), Tawnya (Apolo), Haylee (Trevor), Zach, Josh (Alyssa), Olivia (John) and great grandkids Emma, Beau, McKinnley, Baylor and Ella.

A rosary service will be held on October 1st, 2025, at 10:15 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (393 Summit Blvd, Priest River ID) followed by a funeral mass at 11 am. Reception to follow at 12:30 pm at Priest River Event Center (5399 Highway 2).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, a parish that was close to Bob's heart.
