Robert PETERSON

February 24, 1947 - August 22, 2025

Spokane - Robert Edwin Peterson, 78, of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025.

Born with a kind and steady spirit, Robert was a journeyman carpenter who devoted his career to carpentry with Kuney Construction. He was a Mead yard supervisor in Spokane. His skill, dedication, and craftsmanship left lasting marks on the community. Beyond his work, Robert was a man who treasured the little things in life; he had a soft spot for animals and was often found feeding the neighborhood squirrels.

Robert loved riding his motorcycles. It was one of his great passions, and he enjoyed the freedom of the open road. He was equally known for his appreciation of food.

Robert's life. He was married to his beloved wife, Sharon Peterson, at the age of 19 and remained married for 43 years until her passing. For the past 17 years, he shared his life with Peggy Pehl. He is survived by Peggy Pehl; his three stepdaughters, Sydney, Lynsey, and Kylsey Pehl; his children, Erik Peterson and Kristin Peterson; his brother, Darrell Peterson; and five grandchildren.

Those who knew Robert will remember his down-to-earth nature and stories. He leaves behind a legacy of the homes, spaces, and bridges he built. Ride on, Bob, ride free.
