Ronald HANSEN Obituary

June 21, 1966 - November 21, 2024

Mead - Ronald Dean Hansen peacefully passed away at his home on November 21, 2024, at just 58 years old. He was the second son in his family born on June 21, 1966, in Spokane, WA, and he graduated from Mead High School in 1984. He began his career at the brick plant in 1988, where he dedicated his life to ensuring his family was provided for by working faithfully the last 37 years. Before turning 30, he was a proud father of three. He enjoyed watching his kids grow, spending time with them as adults, and cherished being a grandpa. Ron had a work ethic no one could compete with. He knew how to have a great time, and not to sweat the small stuff. He was as loyal as they come and was always willing to help his friends and family no matter what the project was. He was amazing at building and creating with his hands. Ron was a real-life MacGyver. Although he was a simple man of few words, he was a man of his word. He had a great sense of humor, infectious smile that reached his eyes, and was so easy to be around. Ron believed in helping those around him and made an impact on many. Ron loved working on his beautiful '49 Chevy pickup (even if he didn't finish it), a good game of dice or golf, and harassing his family and friends. Ron was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his three beautiful children (Tiffany, Nicole, and James); two precious grandbabies (Asher and Ember); his parents (Mike and Darlene); three brothers (Bill, Jared, and Garrett); and many friends who are like family. Ron is fiercely loved. He will be missed by many but never forgotten.
