Roy EVANS Obituary

Roy LaVerne Evans passed away at home on July 25th, 2025, at the age of 60. Roy was born on January 23rd, 1965, to Lee and Ione Evans, and lived in Deer Park, WA, his whole life. He worked for the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center for over twenty years as a Maintenance worker.

Roy had many hobbies and talents across his lifetime; he was an avid bowler, competing in bowling tournaments all across Washington state, he was a strong golfer and traveled to play in tournaments in Washington, Idaho, and Las Vegas, and he loved to sing karaoke. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and camping with family on the Colville Indian Reservation. If he wasn't traveling to spend time with family, he was hosting them at his house and grilling for big potluck dinners.

Roy is survived by former wife, Ila Maria Pfeifer; sons, Adam Michael Walker and Cody William Evans; sister, Mary Lee McBeth; brother-in-law, Mark McBeth; niece, Jamie Lea McBeth; nephew, Jacob Allen McBeth; and granddaughters, Michelle and Elizabeth Walker. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Evans and Ione Evans.

A potluck memorial dinner will be held in his honor at the Deer Park Eagles Lodge, at 1:00pm, Saturday, September 20th, 2025.

Deer Park's Lauer Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
