Sally SHARPE Obituary

Sally Jo (Miles) Sharpe, of Spokane Valley, WA went home to be with her Savior on February 26, 2023, at the age of 87. She was born in Kellogg, ID, to Jim and Gwen Miles on June 22, 1935. Sally and her high school sweetheart, Arthur Sharpe, attended North Central High School. They married on February 18, 1952, and had four children. Sally Jo had an unshakeable Christian faith. She loved to serve others by cooking. She was the head cook for Riverview Bible Camp for many years; she also cooked for Union Gospel Mission and Young at Heart (through Fourth Memorial Church). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and beloved aunt and uncle, Matilda and Herman Anderson. Her passing, although difficult, was peaceful as she was surrounded by her four children and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who sang and prayed for her into heaven. She will always be loved and remembered by surviving children; Arthur Sharpe and his wife Roseanna, Carrie (Sharpe) West and her husband Kevin, Benjamin Sharpe and his wife Ericka, and Thelma (Sharpe) Grassi and her husband Dan. She was also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Sally's life will be held on June 24, 2023, location to be announced at www.CelebrationOfLifeForSally.com To leave an online condolence for Sally's family, please visit www.HennesseyFuneralHomes.com.
