Samuel TRUSTY Obituary
Samuel Ellsworth Trusty left this mortal life and returned to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born on January 14, 1926 in Spokane to Samuel Trusty and Leone Vira Murphy. He was born in the home built by his father and grandfather. Ellsworth attended Willard Elementary and graduated from North Central in 1944. He met his beautiful wife, Audrey Fay Bogar, on a blind date and married her February 22, 1947. They have five children: Glenna (DeRon) Olsen, Spokane Valley; Kim (Janice), Kennewick; Bruce (Beth), Suncrest; Tamara (Robert) Johnson, Spokane; and Renee (Erik) Johnson, West Jordan, Utah. He was a master paperhanger by trade and was in high demand because of his skills. His work remains in banks, commercial buildings and many of Spokane's historic homes. Ellsworth was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served four stake missions, was a member of a Bishopric and served in many other callings. He was known for his honesty, integrity, reliability, and he had many friends. He was adventurous, energetic, and had a charismatic personality. People loved his humorous storytelling. He was an avid reader and was interested in politics, history, hunting, camping, boating and football. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, five children, 20 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Elmer and Art, and his sister Maryetta Henry. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10th at 2:00 PM at the LDS Church, 2112 W. Francis Avenue, Spokane, WA.

It is with smiles and fun loving memories we will keep Uncle Ellsworth in our hearts. If you spent any time with him, you will remember him. He was a character and a good man. His life had meaning.

Prayers for his family's peace. Sam went to school with my late sister-in-law, Donna Lou Heard Graham. I believe they had a visit at Stephen Sutton & my daughter, Erin's wedding here in Connell. Sam also had the answer to our wallpaper dilemma, having been in the business many years. Sympathy to all who loved him. Marcellene Graham Hueter
