Sharon Adair Obituary

DONEEN,
Sharon
(Age 52)

Passed away on September 13, 2011, in her home in Spokane WA, with her family by her side.
Sharon was born in Spokane, WA, June 18, 1959. She graduated from Ferris High School in 1977.
Sharon fought her Cancer long and hard and was such an inspiration to all that knew her. She will be deeply missed by so many; but never forgotten. Sharon always put others needs before herself. She decided a long time ago that Cancer was not going to get the best of her. She lived her life one day at a time and lived it to the fullest and never complained. She would always say and live by her motto; "no worries". She is a hero in so many ways.
Sharon is survived by her three boys, Brandon Doneen, Jared (Whitne) Doneen and Nathan Doneen. Sharon's boys were her pride and joy. She has left a little of herself behind in each of them. She also leaves behind her husband, Dale Adair who has been her rock and always stood by her during her long battle. Dale's children; Robert Parker, Brent, Jordan, Mariah and Jacob Adair. Sharon is also survived by her mother, Agnes Ludington; sisters; Linda (Bill) Fisher, Lois (Jerry) Anderson, Cheryl Ludington and Denise (Thomas) Hayes. Also, brothers; Wayne Ludington and Keith (Lea) Ludington. Numerous nieces and nephews and loyal companion, her dog Nelson, who never left her side. She was preceded in death by her father; Roy Ludington.
When on earth Sharon was a bright shining star, we now will look up to heaven to see her shining down on us. You are loved by so many, Sharon, and will be deeply missed until the day we meet again in Heaven. You are one of God's angels now and will forever be free of sickness and pain.
The family would like to thank everyone for all their support and words of kindness. We would also like to thank Dr. Lund and his staff for the many years of care and support they have given Sharon. Also thanks to Hospice of Spokane.
At Sharon's request, there will be a celebration of her life for family and friends on Saturday, September 24th, at 11 o'clock, in Rosalia at The Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Donations may be made in Sharon's name to Dr. Lund's Cancer Research, Nancy Meuler, RN, BSN, OCN Research Nurse, Rockwood Cancer Treatment Center, 910 W. 5th Ave., Suite 700, Spokane, WA 99204, or to Hospice of Spokane at:

I can't believe you have been gone ten years. I still have that empty place in my heart. I talk to you often in heaven. I still miss you so much Sharon. You were always there when I needed you. You were the BEST big sister. I will never forget you. I look forward to the day when we will be together again. You are and always be in my heart. Love you.

Dale, there are no words one can express at the loss of one so loved and cherished. Sharon is with god and watching over all of you. I share your pain and anguish.
My heart goes out to you and the children.
All my love and prayers are with all of you.

There are no words to describe what a special person you were.
I am so proud to call you my sister. You will forever be in my heart. You will be missed every day, until the day we will be together again in heaven;

She is the strongest person that I have EVER known. Not once can I ever remember my Aunt complaining, every memory that I have of her she was nothing but smiles and laughs. That is how she will remain in my mind & heart. She was a walking angel on earth, and now she is a true angel in heaven. We love you Sharon and will promise to keep you alive in our hearts always....
