Sharon SCHMEHL Obituary

Sharon Ankley Schmehl of Spokane Valley passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 15, 2024.

Sharon was born in Laona, Wisconsin, September 24, 1934, the oldest of seven. She also raised seven children of her own but was known as "Mom" to many.

Her hobbies included sewing, painting, cake decorating, and knitting. She was always up for any kind of challenge.

Sharon was employed by Hathaway Meats during the day and waitressed in the evening at Valley Bowl for several years. She then went to work in the Bakery for Rosauers/Excell until she retired.

Sharon is survived by her children, Art, Debbie, Susan, Guy, Lori, John and Brian; three brothers; two sisters; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
