Shawn McDANIEL Obituary
Shawn Ian McDaniel, passed away on December 21, 2023, in Lolo, Montana, at the age of 33. Born on April 14, 1990, at Spokane, WA, Shawn brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. Shawn was known to some but especially his mother as Shawnee Bonnie.
Shawn was an amazing person who always had a smile on his face and could light up a room. His infectious laughter and funny stories could instantly change anyone's mood. He was a caring and loving young man, and his nieces and nephew adored him, often proclaiming him as their favorite uncle. His family was so proud of him.
Shawn attended Avista Line School in 2012, where he pursued his passion for becoming a Journeyman Lineman and soon after that making foreman. (Call Sign 169) for Missoula Electrical Cooperative. He excelled in his career and made valuable contributions to the field. He dedicated himself to his work and his coworkers were like family.
Outside of work, Shawn had a multitude of interests and hobbies. He was a natural athlete, showcasing his talents in football, basketball, and track. Additionally, he had a love for skiing, jujutsu, hunting, fishing, camping, and running marathons. Shawn lived life to the fullest, embracing every opportunity for adventure and physical activity.
Shawn will be deeply missed by his mother, Diane McDaniel, his father, Ralph McDaniel, his stepmother, Susan McDaniel, his brother, Brent McDaniel (Aleasha), his stepsisters, Jennifer Baker (Daniel), Stephanie Jacobsen (Erik), his nieces and nephew and all who knew him.
A celebration of Shawn McDaniel's life will be held at Trailbreaker Cider House in Liberty Lake, WA, on February 17, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. It will be a time to remember and honor the vibrant spirit that Shawn McDaniel brought into the lives of those around him.
May his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
