Shelly Marie
(Age 48)
Entered into rest on June 29, 2018 in Spokane, her longtime home. Born in Tacoma, WA to Ronald and Diane Sterling. Shelly and her brother, Shawn, had a joyful childhood and loving family. She graduated from North Central High School with the Class of 1988 and from Trend college in 1994. Although she was a business owner of "How Do I Look, LLC", Shelly enjoyed helping others as a patient specialist and Certified Medical Assistant with Advanced Dermatology here in Spokane. She was a member of the American Association of Medical Associates, loved to exercise, and play with her grandson, as well as her cats. She leaves behind her loving husband of 23 years, Kurtis Eric Hahn; two sons, Nicholas and Layton; her brother, Shawn Sterling; her parents, Ron and Diane Sterling; and her precious grandson, Carter Halverson Hahn. A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Grace Christian Fellowship, 2159 N. Hamilton St., Spokane, WA 99207. Shelly was always ready to help any child, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House. Or, in her honor, son Layton is preparing for an extended Christian Mission trip and any assistance on his behalf to laytonhahn.theworldrace.org would honor Shelly's wish. Guestbook:

I loved Shelly like a sister. I will always remember all the good times and the holidays spent together. So very sorry for your loss Kurt, Nick and Layton. You will be missed Shelly.

The first thing I think of when remembering Shelly, would be be her love of bubble gum and her pups when we were younger. She had such a kind, beautiful, tender heart and smile. My prayers of peace and love to her family and friends who are missing her so deeply. Fly high with angels my friend.
