Peacefully entered into rest February 19, 2011 at her home in Chewelah, WA. She was born on June 11, 1951 to Richard and Aloha Schneider, and was a lifelong resident of Chewelah. Sue was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. Her passion in life was her family. She always focused on others to ensure that everyone and everything was taken care of. Even during her battle with MS and cancer, she remained focused on others, never herself. Her strong will and love for life always out-weighed the personal struggles she may have been dealing with. She loved every minute of the time she shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends. She shared her love of birds, plants, and the Lord with all those around her. Her strength, courage, and determination was noticed by all those that knew her. Her kind, caring spirit will be remembered by all and missed by many. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Richard Schneider. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 40 years, Gary Skok; her mother, Aloha Schneider; children, Tom Skok and Lana of Chewelah, WA, Tara Livingston and Troy of Chewelah, WA, and Brett Skok and Briana of Chewelah, WA; her grandchildren, Jaimz, TJ, Jaelynn, Ethan, Nicholas, Lexi, Taegan, Grady, Cody and Mia; her brothers, Richard Schneider and Kathy of Chewelah, WA, Rod Schneider and Janice of Kettle Falls, WA, Michael Schneider and Marlene of Coeur d' Alene, ID, Patrick Schneider of Mara of Chewelah, WA; sisters, Kathy Schneider of Renton, WA, and Jennifer Hartill and Brian of Chewelah, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 202 N. 2nd St., Chewelah, WA. Interment will follow at Jump Off Joe Cemetery.
