Susan WELLS Obituary

Susan passed away September 22, 2021. Born in Northwood N D to Violet and Palmer Twenge. Raised in Hatton ND. Oldest of two Paul Twenge of Minnetonka Minn. Graduating from Hatton High School her dream at that time was to follow "Tom Jones" to Pontypridd Wales. She enrolled in Wahpeton State School of Science ND, LPN with high grades. Worked at St. Lukes 12 years. Moved to Hawaii with a girl friend. Worked in numerous hospitals and clinics for a few years. Susan moved back to states to MN and was hired at Minneapolis Children's. They were interviewing for RNs, loving her referrals and interview, while they were having a nursing strike! Worked a few years and again had opportunity to move back to Hawaii and worked at Straub Clinic. She met her future husband Jeffrey Wells. They both moved to Spokane in 1989. Hired at Deaconess with great referrals from Walter Strode MD, Hawaii. She married Jeff September 9.1993. Jeff passed away in 2001. Then vacationing in Hawaii. Reliability devotion to patient care and great spirit! Her clients loved her, always did a great job and had fun!

Her Life verse was Proverbs 3:5. Trust in the Lord...her favorite songs "In the arms of an Angel" and "Amazing Grace."

Celebration of Life done with her neighbors and Nurses, lunch to follow.
