Todd Cobb Obituary

COBB, Todd W. (Age 40) Born July 29, 1969. Passed away October 7, 2009. Todd was a graduate of Lewis & Clark High School. He was unwaveringly devoted to his family. Todd also had a special place in his heart for the elderly and children. He recently achieved a blessed 90-day milestone, allowing him a new way to celebrate life in companionship with God. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Bobbi; children: Jennifer, Kaylee and Timothy Ryan; mother, Kay; father, Gene; aunt, Gail Thompson; uncle, Lynn Hansen; "bonus sister", Lynda Booth; and a loving circle of supportive friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Lucille Hansen; brother, Tim Cobb; mother-in-law, Joan Booth; special friend, Joannie Engebretson; and Mamma Nita Mahoney. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2705 W. Boone, Spokane, WA. There are no easy words to say or to write, to Todd's family, wife, children, and friends, I will be praying for everyone in this difficult time. I haven't seen Todd since shortly after we graduated and I knew Todd as a guy full of energy and excitement. It is always a difficult thing to hear that you have lost someone you would consider a friend even though you haven't seen them for a very long time. My prayer for everyone is that in this time Our Heavenly Father would consume you by the power of His presence, that the Holy Spirit would keep you strong in your grief and sustain each of you as we all question the what, how, and the whys. Our God is an awesome, powerful, and unending lover of His creation and His Son Jesus Christ defeated death. My prayers and sympathy to all. In Jesus name, Amen!
