I just found out Verna passed away today. She was one of my favorite workmates of all time. We worked together at Alderwood and she was so much fun and such a hard worker. Her wit was sharp... you never knew what she was going to come up with next! She was a beautiful person with a big heart. I used to drive her home sometimes and I have often looked back on those times with fondness. May she rest in peace and her family find the comfort they need in her absence.
