THOMAS, Wendee Lynn
(Age 42)
Born November 12, 1968, in Spokane, WA, Wendee passed away October 2, 2011, in Spokane at Sacred Heart Medical Center. As an organ donor she helped many others. Wendee worked 17 years at Valley Hospital as Health Unit Coordinator, and was last working at Medco in Liberty Lake, WA. She loved animals, spending time at the cabin at Pend Oreille Lake and summer trips to the Oregon Coast.
She is survived by her parents, Steve and Jeri Thomas; son, Justin Thomas; aunts and uncles, Kay and Brian Ross, Denny and Doni Sanders, Bud and Terri Thomas; and cousins in Spokane and Soap Lake, WA.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, October 16, 2011, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at Center Place, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley. Memorial contributions may be made to Spokanimal, 710 N. Napa, Spokane, WA 99202, or SCRAPS, 2521 N. Flora, Spokane Valley, WA 99216.

wow what a shock! even though we were no longer friends we did have a lot of good times together as kids! skating at skate town, crusing riverside on weekends, hanging out when she lived with her grandpa and took care of him. so sorry for your loss Steve , jeri and Justin!

I met Wendee at MEDCO where I work. She was such a pleasure. She always had a smile and a nice thing to say to me! She was so nice to "everyone".

Wendee, As you enter heaven and are in the arms of the one that created and loved you with all his heart, Just know you will be missed here on Earth, as we celebrate your life today, I have so many wonderful memories of the fun we shared, our Ocean trips, our walks and talks, our old time photos and so much more. You are in my heart forever and always. Prayers go out to the family, knowing how hard it must be. But also knowing what a blessing you were and always will be!

Wendee was such an uplifting person..so friendly. We will miss her at Medco. I only knew her for a short time, but she left a lasting impression with her always upbeat attitude.
