Weston WITHERS Obituary

WITHERS, Weston D. "Mr. SaurKraut" Weston came into this life on October 1, 1934 and left quietly on November 2, 2018. We are surprised by this part, too. He lived a very full and colorful life, and left an impression on every person he met. And some that he didn't meet. Weston lived many adventures as a logger, longshoreman, Airforce vet, World traveler, craftsman, Wrasslin' Bear trainer, horse breaker, bounty hunter, auto transport coordinator, Leprechaun, and most of all Mr. SaurKraut. While all of this should have been enough for proper yarn-spinning, Weston found many more opportunities to fabricate even more fantastic stories to share, and could make his audience believe the impossible and improbable. Weston was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Freda, sister Lavonn, beloved wife Margarette, daughter Mary, and great-grandson Joshua. He is survived by his daughters Shirley, Leona, and Carol, nephews Nathan and Robin, and all of their families. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. And then there are the family members that were chosen by Wes, and you all know who you are! A celebration of Weston's life is planned for November 17th at 1:30 pm at Dishman Baptist Church at 315 N. Argonne Rd. in Spokane Valley. All of Weston's friends and family are invited to join us to share your own unique stories for all to enjoy. Special thanks go out to Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center.
