William Orrill Conant

CONANT, William Orrill "Bill" William was born July 6, 1925 in Judith Gap, Montana and passed away on January 27 2010 in Spokane. He moved with his Family to Post Falls, Idaho in the early 1940's and began working at Kaiser Aluminum's Trentwood plant shortly after high school, where he worked for over 40 years. William married Tessa Jane Hunt in 1947 and the couple lived in Valleyford, Washington for a time before settling in the Spokane Valley, where both would remain for the rest of their lives. Mr. Conant is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years and survived by his sister Louise Campbell, daughters Lynette Boehme, Rebecca Conant, Angela Conant, and son Timothy Conant, all of Spokane, one granddaughter and one grandson. Bill was a quiet man, usually preferring to spend his leisure time reading, but his was a kind soul and he was more likely to help anyone who asked than not, and he will be missed by his family and those few who knew him. Visitation will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, S. 1400 Pines Rd., Friday, February 5, from 4-8PM. A graveside memorial will be held on Saturday the 6th at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney-Spokane Rd. at 2PM.
