They enjoyed traveling in and outside the US. Bill and Cheryl loved to sail and had a sailboat on Lake Pend Oreille. They enjoyed many summers sailing with friends, family and grandchildren.
Yoga helped to keep them healthy and active and was another opportunity to make friends with like-minded yogis. Through covid they continued doing yoga at home until the present.
Woodworking was Bill's passion. He delighted in tackling challenging projects. Just prior to passing he had a new project to take on.
Bill was a long time Rotarian, joining in Oregon in the '60s. He was currently active in the Sunrise Rotary chapter in the Spokane Valley. He and fellow Rotarians believed strongly in education and worked to fund students at the community college.
