Woodrow BAIN Obituary

August 19, 1942 - August 19, 2025

Woodrow Clair Bain Jr., known as "Woody" to his friends and "Sandy" to his family, died at home after a long battle with lung cancer. He left behind the love of his life, Lynn; four sons: Lance, Kipp, Darin and Billy; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson, all of whom he loved dearly. He was a cherished friend, an admired teacher, a master fisherman and hunter, and could repair anything. He was a staunch protector of those less fortunate and would not tolerate anyone who bullied. Sandy was kind, gentle, and caring, and helped all who needed a hand. Everyone who knew him will miss him terribly, and know that he's out there, somewhere, hooking the biggest steelhead of his life.

So sad. I didn´t know Woody a long time, but in the few short years we knew each other he became a close friend! He will be missed by all the Wednesday lunch bunch.
