Rest in Peace Yvonne ✝
Kevin Jacobs

Yvonne played several profound roles in my life during my "growing up" years. She was my piano teacher, mother-figure, and friend. She made me feel that I was a member of her family, for which I will always be grateful. Her generosity of spirit new no bounds. She even attended my high school graduation party! We remained in touch, off and on, over the next 35 years. Not a day passes when I don't think about Yvonne. I will never forget her. (And here's a shout-out to Mary O'Neill: I think of you often, and still remember your splendid performance of Grieg's "Notturno!") My heart goes out to Tawni, Bernhard (Ben), Bob, and extended family.

I´m very sorry to hear of Yvonne´s passing. She and my mother were dear friends and I have many fond memories growing up. May she find much joy in her new adventure. God Bless, Yvonne.

It is hard to find words for someone this special.
Yvonne was a loving, caring and gracious soul. She touched my life at an early age as my piano teacher. Her mentorship and guidance were integral in helping me to be the person that I am today. I might not have continued in nursing school had it not been for the discipline and perseverance that I learned from Yvonne. She was not just an outstanding piano teacher but she also had a beautiful maternal side and I considered her a second mother. I admired her very much. I know that she will be so missed by all her family and many others. I consider it a very great blessing that Yvonne was in my life.
