Allen Frigen Obituary

Allen LeRoy Frigen, age 89, of Spooner, WI, passed away at home on Monday, September 5, 2022.

Allen was born on June 16, 1933, in Monango, ND, to parents Benjamin and Johanna (Weiderrich) Frigen. Al served in the Air Force in Korea and was honorably discharged. When he came back, Al began working for Good Year Tire Company before owning and operating several auto parts stores.

Al is survived be his loving wife of 39 years, Lourie; children, Susan (Gary) Anderson, Debra (Gary Kanistern) Monroe, David (Kristi) Frigen; stepdaughter, Colette (Allen) Gravesen; brother Don Frigen; sister-in-law Dolly Frigen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and of course, Schatzi.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Marv; sister-in-law Carol; and ex-wife, Arlene.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Spooner at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. An interment with military honors will follow at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
