David B. Campbell, age 62, passed away December 16, 2024, at his home in Elk Mound, WI. David was born December 8th, 1962, to the late Glenn and Charlotte (Anderson) Campbell of Trego, WI. He graduated from Spooner High School in May 1981 and continued his education at Chippewa Valley Tech College, earning a degree pertaining to welding and attained a job through Unisys. David commuted to Minnesota while maintaining he residency in the Eau Claire area until he had the opportunity to purchase a hobby farm near Elk Mound, WI. He met and married his first wife, (Julie Brunberg), March of 1987. As an avid sportsman, David enjoyed the outdoors hunting and training his prize Labrador Ace and many of his offspring.
David finally fulfilled his dream of creating his own business of Totaduck Kennels, where he boarded dogs and cats for area residence on his hobby farm. As the kennel business grew in demand, David eventually committed himself to working at the kennel full-time. David also found a new love of riding motorcycle and cherished his Harley-Davidson Fatboy.
David's second marriage was to Brynne Boch. Unfortunately, Brynne passed away March of 2014. David struggled as a widow and it reflected on the kennel business that forced him into attaining numerous jobs. David's last job was at Anderson Windows in Menomonie, WI, where he enjoyed working with a team of follow employees.
David was preceded in death by his wife Brynne (Boch) Campbell, father, Glenn Campbell, mother, Charlotte (Anderson) Campbell, and brother, Larry Campbell. He leaves behind sisters, Joan (Paul) Welch, Victoria (Peter) Andrews, Susan Campbell and Patti (DeWayne) Butterfield, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
David requested to be cremated and a quiet ceremony spreading his ashes to be with his late wife Brynne on their property.
