HAMMETT, Anna Marie 77, of Urbana, Ohio and formerly of Havanna, Illinois died Friday, May 27, 2005 in her residence. She was born in Poplar City, Illinois on November 21, 1927 the daughter of Henry John and Gladys Marie ( Mason) Howell. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Urbana. She is survived by her children, Frank (Laura) Hammett Jr. of Urbana, Robert (Yvonne) Hammett of Springfield, Carolyn Sue (Donald) Cave of Urbana and James L. Hammett of Urbana; grandchildren, Joshua, Brandie, Jonathan, Micaella, LouAnne, Cherie Lynn, Rhonda and Ronald; great grandchildren, Brook, Javier, Mateo, Peyton, Dionisio, John and Bethany; brothers, Ray Howell of Lewistown, Illinois and Lawrence Howell of Durango, Illinois; sisters, Florence Burgett and Betty Gilmore of Havanna, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank V. Hammett, Sr. whom she married January 24, 1945 and seven brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from 4-6 p.m. in the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 642 South Main Street. A Dignity Memorial provider, where a funeral service wii be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday with George Jackson officiating. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005 Laurel Hill Cemetery, Havanna, Illinois with Dean Bale officiating.
