I sat next to Tony during the ground breaking ceremony of the new building of Saint Simon and Jude. He related to me meeting my grandparents that fateful day in 1959 after they had finished their dinner at the restaurant on the way to our house to babysit with us for the weekend. My grandmother had come up to the cash register and asked to speak to Tony, and told him what a wonderful meal they had. He told me what lovely people they were and that he was so grateful to be able to meet them........ No one else in my family had ever heard that story. It was though he was saving it for me.....

To the Buscemi Family:

Our family has fond memories of "Pop" running the cash register in the resteraunt as well as his warm smile, gentle handshake and familiar "wink". We will miss him dearly as I am sure all of his friends and family will. Our thoughts are with you all.

Sincerely,

The Feher Family.

My deepest sympathy. I can remember so many times of going to Ann & Tony's after football practices for raviolli and sometimes Tony would be there and would tell stories about when my dad used to come down after his football practices. I grew up away from West Jefferson for some years but would always look forward to coming back and eating at the restaurant. It always amazed me that no matter how long it had been, Tony would always remember names. He will be sadly missed by everyone, we have truly lost a great person, but the heavens are now better off.
