News Death Notice
DeARMOND, Sr., Chris E. 43, of Springfield passed away March 17, 2012 in Miami Valley Hospital. He was born April 6, 1968 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Curtis and Charlotte (Smith) DeArmond. Chris was a barber at New Flavor Barber Shop. His memory will be cherished by his parents; sons, Chris DeArmond Jr., Curtis DeArmond, Tyson DeArmond, Christian DeArmond; daughters, Christa DeArmond, Briana DeArmond, NaKesha DeArmond, Desirah DeArmond, India DeArmond and LaShanna DeArmond; brothers, Curtis (Duke) Benton, Eric (Linda) DeArmond, Brian DeArmond Sr., Michael DeArmond, Clayton (Melinda) DeArmond and Marcus (Andrianne) DeArmond; sisters, LaTasha DeArmond-Washington and Belinda DeArmond; God brother, Vincent (Margetta) Douglas; 13 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. Alvin Harmon and grandmother, Beatrice Satterfield. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. in Greater Grace Temple. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Dinner will be served at the Masonic Temple, 541 Fair Street after the burial. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

To the Dearmond family. I miss you all so much. I am so sorry to hear about chris. Chrissy to us. I am glad however, to know that he was proud of where he had come ib life. We all make mistakes and that is the beauty of the Lord...we are still his children and he knows us better than we or others know us. I will miss his kind words and wonderful smile.
