Clayton JONES Obituary
News Death Notice
JONES, Clayton "Clay" M. 18, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly May 6, 2012 in the Emergency Room of Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1993 in Springfield, OH to Gerald Jones and Luann J. (Talley) Jones. Survivors in addition to his parents of Springfield includes two sisters, Jessica (Eric Wichner) Jones, Cincinnati, OH and Paige (Kyle) Kirby, Nashville, TN; a brother, Tyler (Darcy Anstine) Jones, Springfield, OH; Paternal grandmother, Shirley Jones; Maternal grandmother, Muriel Talley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Jones and Lavern Talley. Clay will be dearly missed by family and friends. His smile, honesty, cleverness and passion for many things in life will be forever remembered. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jeff Mullinix officiating. The family will receive friends 1 ½ prior, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Clay Jones Memorial Fund through Kenton Ridge High School, Northeastern Local School District, 1414 Bowman Rd., Springfield, OH 45502.

Thanks to all for their beautiful words and memories regarding my brother Clay. As time passes and I began to heal from the pain of loss, I relish in your kind words and Clays eternal presence becomes stronger and my memories of him become brighter. Thank you all. CLay went to school with me and my friends at Springfield Clark CTC. He would wave at us and always have a smile on his face no matter what people did or said. He will be truly missed and i send my prayers and deepest sympathies to his family
