Dylan NUMBERS Obituary
News Death Notice
NUMBERS, Dylan Robert 20, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 23, 2012. He was born in Springfield on April 16, 1992 the son of Jerron and Diana (Sellers) Numbers. Dylan worked at Springfield Country Club and was attending Clark State. He was a 2010 Kenton Ridge graduate. He loved wrestling, baseball, working out, and was an avid Buckeye and Bengals fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, David Numbers; great-grandmother, Mabel Roberts; maternal grandparents, Robert and Pat Sellers; two uncles, Rob Sellers and Paul (Su) Numbers; four aunts, Jan Chase, Jenny (Rich) O'Brien, Linda (Denny) Oder and Sally (Chuck) Schreiber; cousins, Courtney (Matt), Kelly, William, Bridget, Nikki, Paul, Samantha, Zach, Sean, Steve, Shella (Geno), Ryan (Erika), Emily, Dave (Rita), Matthew (Izzy), Julianne (Tim), Max, Mia, Aiden and Addison, numerous friends and God parents, Shella Howard and Jimmy Picolo. He was inseparable from "his Girl," Darian Rusk, and their puppy, Roscoe. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Janis Numbers and his aunt, Marcy Sellers. He will be remembered for his love and devotion for family and friends, his free spirit and love of life, his good heart, his infectious smile, and the light in his eyes. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor John Pollock officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kenton Ridge Athletic Boosters c/o Kris Spriggs, A.D. or the charity of your choice.

My deepest sympathy to you for the loss of Dylan. I first met Dylan at the baseball diamond and it was my pleasure to watch him grow up. He was such a pleasant young man with a fabulous smile. Dear Diane,
Although we met just recently and only for a brief amount of time, I felt as though I needed to connect with you as I have been where you are and have experienced the pain you now feel. My heart goes out to you and your family and I am so sorry for your loss. A handsome young man with an engaging smile and apparently loved by many will surely be missed. I had known Dylan through my Daughter Emily that graduated with him at KR. I always was impressed with his politeness and great personality. I saw Dylan this past Friday at the gym and soon as I saw his smile we talked and one of the first things he asked me was "How is Heather doing ?" Heather is a mutual friend that is fighting pancreatic cancer. He then said to me I pray every day for her!WOW I thought what a great young man.
I am sure your hearts are aching and are feeling such sadness with his loss.You can be proud to know you raised a wonderfull young man and he is loved by so many.

Dylan was such a wonderful person. He always knew how to make everyone smile, even when he himself wasn't happy. He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met. Getting to know him, and have him in my life was a blessing. Although he is no longer here on earth, I know he's in a much more wonderful place smiling down on us! Dylan was my roommate and best friend for the past 7-8 months. He always no matter what, had a smile on his face and was very cheerful! I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with such an amazing person. He's touched everyone he's met and has left an ABUNDANCE of great memories for myself and many others. Dylan was a part of our family since I believe he and Cole were in the 5th grade. He was a very special friend to Cole, and he will always be a part of all of our lives, we are going to miss that smile of his. Our hearts are aching for his mom, dad, brother and rest of family. Our hearts are aching for Cole, and the rest of Dylan's friends. My cousin who is very spiritual said it best yesterday, she said "Dylan must have not had anything else to learn here, and God wanted him home early". But, you will still be truly missed here at the Guthrie home.
