News Death Notice

MALONEY, Edith Jane Jahnke 83, passed into Heaven Sept. 12, 2010 in Bluffton, S.C. Waiting to greet her were her parents Sherrill & Mary (Knott) Hankins, her first husband Elmer, dear sister Shirley & brother-in-law Robert Ayres. Left to celebrate her life & laughter are her second husband of sixteen years, Jim, son Thom (Chris) Jahnke, daughter Beth (Jeff) Jenkins, treasured grandchildren Anitre Payne, Tom Jaroch, Mallorie (Justin) White, Maranda Jahnke & Mathew Jahnke; adored great-grandchildren Harley & Presley Payne, cherished nephews Bob (Karen), Jack (Teri), & Gary (Flo) Ayres, special nieces Linda (Steve) Schlegel, Nancy (Ron) Nichols, great nieces & nephews & decades of friends. Edie loved her Norwood Reunions & attended Miami University. She was a member of the Eastern Star & most recently attended the Lowcountry Presbyterian Church, S.C. A second service to remember the "little girl from Kentucky" & interment will be held Tuesday April 19, 2011 @ 2:00 in the Masonic Garden @ Arlington Memorial Cemetery, 2145 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, Oh.
