Family-Placed Obituary

PACKMAN, Grace Evelyn 75 of Marysville, passed away Monday, May 8, 2006 in Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was born on October 27, 1930 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Mary Elizabeth (Lorten) Sinclair. She retired from Ranco Inc. in Plain City after 44 years of service. She is survived by a son, Roger (Kathy) Packman of North Lewisburg; son-in-law, John Howell of Urbana; grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Stricker of Bellefontaine, Roger Packman of North Lewisburg, Jennifer Packman of Springfield and John Howell of Marysville; a sister, Lois Ann Lowry of Marysville; two brothers, Howard Sinclair of California and Lowell Sinclair of Troy and two great grandchildren, DaCota and Caitlin Hollar of Bellefontaine. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger P. Packman Sr. in 1992, daughter, Claudia Howell, six brothers, Arthur, Wilbur, Karl, Raymond, Richard and Franklin, six sisters, Jenette Ray, Marguerite Teach, Ruth Cromwell, Esther Mohler, Mary Ellen Kriel and Carrie Belle Sinclair. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 3-7 p.m. in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, North Lewisburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Mobile Meals Program c/o Lois Blue, 500 London Avenue, Marysville, Ohio 43040.
