I always thought of Henry as a very strong and also a very peaceful individual. He was always good to me and I have always appreciated him. I was sorry to learn of his passing away and wanted to send my deepest sympathy to his family. He was truly a great man.
Best regards,
Rich

I was first told about Mr. Wickham and his contributions to the music industry from the late Henry Steinway, who wrote a wonderful note encouraging us to include Mr. Wickham within our interviewed collection. After that very special interview, which was completed back in 2003, I thanked Mr. Steinway not only for the idea but for the education I received when listening to Mr. Wickham's incredible story. Here is a segment from his NAMM Oral History interview:

When I think of Henry's illness I think about the dedication and strength of his darling Patricia and the fact that he suffers no more.
