News Death Notice

GARRISON, James "Jimmy" P. Jr. 64, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Friday March 6, 2009 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Jimmy was born February 13, 1945 in Pasadena, California. He was the son of James P. Garrison Sr. and Dorothy (Bacon) Garrison. Mr. Garrison retired as a truck driver after many years of service on the road. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Craig (Roen) A. Elliott of Springfield, Jeremy Garrison, James P. Garrison III and William Garrison all of Dayton; two daughters, Amica Martin of Springfield and Xavier Garrison of Dayton; three grandchildren, Ross T. Elliott, Cantly A. Elliott and London Martin of Springfield; special friend, Nadine Wysinger-Garrison of Dayton and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Carolyn. Visitation will be Friday March 13, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. The family will receive friends at Greater First Baptist Church following the services. arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
