GARRISON, James L. (Jimmy) 60, of Springfield, Ohio departed this life on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 in South Brook Care Center. He was born September 26, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio the son of William and Delores Marie (Russell) Garrison. Mr. Garrison served in the United States Army. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Marsha (Fisher) Garrison; his parents; four daughters, Jamie (Butch) Owens, Robin and Amber Garrison both of Springfield, Ohio and Ebony Garrison of Atlanta, Georgia; three sons, James Jr., William J. and Jermaine Garrison all of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Gloria Jean, Gwendolyn (Larry) Lawrence and Marquita (Justice) Parks all of Springfield, Ohio; two brothers, Dwight Garrison of Birmingham, Alabama and Hiawatha Garrison of Springfield, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2004 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon with the family present at PORTER-QUALLS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will follow visitation at 12 noon. Burial will be in the Dayton Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors. Final tributes are a service of Porter-Qualls Funeral Homes, Inc.

God Bless you Jimmy , Your in the Best of care ... You will be missed. However everytime I look at your first born ,ROBIN Arlene Garrisn lollis & Jim ) I will see you... There both you! I'm so glad you went to Robin ... In your time ...of need and closeness ... I wish you could have seen your new grandson Antiono James ... I'm glad you got to know your grands Daniel & PAIGE.She going to miss you bringing her candy ... when you come in at night fall. But guess what, we will all one day meet up again. DAD, I'm going to miss you ... But I know God knows best. Mom told me how you ask about me... all the time ,I'm just sorry we did'nt get that quailty time , as you had a chance to be with my sister Robin , and her children. your first born... first grands. I'm sorry you did'nt get to meet ...my son ANTIONO JAMES GARRISON ...HE ten months now and he really something else. He looks like you and mom and got robin mouth. Dad ,I'm really going to miss you ...I'M so sorry I can't be there , in person ...however you know I love you; my big SIS WILL , BE THERE LIKE SHE WAS JUST BEFORE THE END , AND FOR THAT I'm Thankful... know matter what !That is what IS IMportant.
