Jerry KEPPLER Obituary
News Death Notice
KEPPLER, Jerry A. "Kep" 67, passed forward on January 4, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. Jerry was born in Springfield on August 9, 1945 the son of William H. and Echo B. (Young) Keppler. He retired from International Harvester in 1996 after 30 years of service. Survived by his wife of 22 years, Sandra K. (Wilson) Keppler, daughter Missy R. Cotterman of Springfield, granddaughter, Kristi R. Cotterman of Springfield; sisters: Winnie Doersam of Kettering, Marjorie Glass of Arlington, Virginia; M. Gaye (Wayne) Lauderback of Spotsylvania, Virginia; and one brother Ernest (Joann) Keppler of Springfield; nieces: Sheila Costello, Deirdre Fisher, Jonelle Glass Johnson, Cheryl Keith, Dawn Harry, Leah Lauderback, Tina Martin and Gloria Marcinio; nephews: Dennis Costello, Eddie Glass, Roger Glass, Tony Keppler and Tyler Keith. Jerry is also survived by good friends, Duke Tingley, Wm. R. Carlos, Jim McAfee and Bobby Martin, Roger and Priscilla Clifton, Douglas and Patricia Lanich and family, Don and Brenda Adamson and family and Mike Adamson. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew David Lauderback and brother-in-law, Jack Glass. Jerry was a very loyal fan of Ohio State. He played softball for many years in Springfield and was an avid golfer. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Rd., Springfield, OH 45504. sandy and family so sorry for the lost of kep he had a wonderful laugh. he was a good friend to mike and a loyal friend . i remenber how kep was so proud of his grandchild and his daughter.it's hard to say goodbye to our loved ones but we always have good menories and funny stories of kep.
