SELF, Jesse Truman 70 of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away Thursday April 14, 2016. He was born October 14, 1945 in Sedro-Woolley, the son of William H. and Lillie M. (Presnell) Self. Jesse had retired from Weyhauser Lumber Yard in Washington. He loved his eagles and old cars, especially his candy apple red '57 Chevy. Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Greenwalt) Self; four daughters, Rebecca Longworth (Harry Grove, Jr.) of Springfield, Ronda (Duane) Frank of Richland, WA, Renea Self of Corry, PA, and Rachel (Daniel) Dreifus of Las Vegas, NV; three step-children, Lela (Mario) Chavez, Tony Greenwalt, and Rachel (Mike) Davis; thirteen grandchildren, Destiny, Leah, David, Anthony, Kendra, Chelsea, Seira, Dezera, Ashley, Alicia, Austin, Tyler and Adam; seven great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, Teasa, Trisha, Cheyanne, Ezra, and Jordan; five siblings, Cecil Self, Lillie Fritz, Ruth Self, Homer self, and David Self; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight siblings and his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 7:00PM until 9:00PM Wednesday in the Westside Christian Community, 1335 Maiden Lane, Springfield, OH. Memorial services will be held at 8:00PM with Pastor Costy Saba officiating. Memorial contributions to held defray expenses would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
