News Death Notice
ALLEN, Joanne M. 82, of Marysville died Saturday afternoon, July 26th, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness. She enjoyed working in the out of doors tending her yard and working in her garden. Joanne was born January 25, 1932 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Ewald and Dorothy Wissinger Selke. She was married to Robert H. Allen who preceded her in death in 1982. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Skinner. She is survived by her children, Julie A. (Neil) Campbell of Milford Center, Mark T. (Michelle) Allen of Sacramento, CA; 6 grandchildren, Laura & Connor Campbell, Brenden & Tyler Allen, Chris (Jodie) Skinner, and Mike (Mindy) Skinner; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister Patricia Coffey of Pickerington. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, August 2nd, at the New California Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Peter Dembroski officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Joanne's memory to the Union County Senior Services in care of Ingram Funeral Home who is completing arrangements. I have thought of Joanne many times? What a kind lady. I used to do her hair, I would pick her up and take her home, and she was always so thankful! It was always my pleasure. Heaven received an angel!
