Family-Placed Obituary

HOHENSTEIN, Margaret of Springfield, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006 in the Alterra Sterling House of Springfield. She was born in Beaver, Ohio on June 6, 1915, the daughter of William & Anna Davis. She was a homemaker for most of her life with her loving husband of 42 years. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She went to work for McDonalds Restaurant after the death of her husband and retired after 8 years of service. Survivors include one daughter, Joyce (Dave) Raber; one son, William (Arlene) Hohenstein; grandchildren, Jeff (Beth) Raber, Cindy (Jorge) Raber Moya, Brad (Betty) Hohenstein, Todd (Marsha) Hohenstein, Ryan Hohenstein, Debbie (Steve) Flora, Kelly Hohenstein, Chris (Renee) Hohenstein, Mike Hohenstein, Trisha (Tony) Cozad, Steve (Cindy) Southard; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clarence Hohenstein and her son, Frank Hohenstein; three sisters and four brothers. Margaret's family would like to thank the staff at Sterling House and Heartland Hospice for their loving care and support for our family. Friends may call Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. in the JACKSON LYTLE & WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 2425 North Limestone St. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston, Ohio.

TO JOY, DAVE, ARLENE, LEW, AND FAMILY.



I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. SHE WAS LIKE A SECOND MOTHER TO ME. HER WISDOM WAS PRICELESS NO ONE COULD EVER TAKE HER PLACE. SHE ALWAYS FOUND TIME FOR ME NO MATTER WHAT WAS GOING ON IN HER LIFE. NOW SHE WILL HAVE HER REWARD I KNOW IT WILL BE GREAT.



AT THIS TIME THE RIGHT WORDS FAIL ME. SHE MET SO MUCH TO ME.



FROM ALL THE MCCARTY CHILDREN IT WAS A GREAT LOSS, WE ALL LOVE HER SO MUCH. SHE WAS A GIFT FROM GOD TO ALL OF US. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR MOTHER WITH US.



SHE WAS A BLESSING TO MANY PEOPLE. ONLY GOD KNOWS ALL THE PEOPLE SHE TOUCH, THRU HER JOURNEY ON THIS EARTH. YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYS.
