News Death Notice
HARRIS, Marie Elizabeth age 90 of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. She was born August 13, 1920 in Springfield, the daughter of the late Gary & Clara (Brittin) Sanger. Preceded in death by her husband DeMarco Harris,Sr., 2 daughters Darlene & Angie, and 3 brothers Myles, Bud & Marion. Marie is survived by her 8 daughters Dee Cornwell of El Paso, TX, Iris Landdeck of Farmington, NM, Una Sacha (Tom) of Yukon, OK, Sharron Johnson (Bob) of Lawton, OK, Donna Plummer of Franklin, TN, Jean Trovato (Tony) of Forestville, MD, Teresa Willman of Springfield, Rosalee Harris of Columbus, OH, her 3 sons Earl Harris (Judi) of Albuquerque, NM, DeMarco Harris, Jr. of Springfield, and Ingemar Harris of Columbia, MO, her brother Stanley Sanger of Huber Heights, her sister Sandra Branam of Springfield, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. from the JONES KENNEY ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield. Brother Robert Corlew officiating. Burial Ferncliff Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
