News Death Notice

STROBLE, Mark D. 43, of Springfield, went Home to be with the Lord at 2:40 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in his residence. He was born May 16, 1966 in Springfield, the son of Darroll and Lois (Mumma) Stroble. Mark was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible, the U. A. W. Local # 402, the N. H. R. A. and was an avid race car driver at Kilkare Race Track. He was employed at Navistar International. Survivors include his wife; Katherine (Bell) Stroble, one son; Clinton Weeks, one daughter; Ana Stroble, his mother; Lois Stroble, his grandmother; Exlee Stroble, two brothers; Brian (Noni) Stroble and Kevin (Leann) Stroble, all of Springfield, his mother-in-law; Dian Bell and fiance Jim Dewey, Michigan, nephews; Justin Swinford and Ryan Stroble and niece; Paige Stroble. He was preceded in death by his father. A celebration of Marks life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the First Church of the Open Bible with Pastor James Martin officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Marks family would like to give special thanks to Community Mercy Hospice, the First Church of the Open Bible, especially Becky and Calvin Lawell for all of their loving care. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
