BICKFORD, Maurissa Lois BICKFORD, Noah Patrick So he lifted them up and they now rest in the Arms of Jesus. Maurissa Lois Bickford, 39, and her son, Noah Patrick Bickford, 3, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Maurissa and Noah, of Sidney, on Tuesday, March 17, at 10:30 a.m., at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, 324 South Ohio Ave., Sidney, with Father James Riehele officiating. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery, 9377 St. Rt. 119, McCartyville, Ohio. Calling hours for Maurissa and Noah are to be held on Monday, March 16, from 12-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Maurissa was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on April 9, 1975, to Bill and Debbie Tobias, who now reside in Papua, New Guinea. On August 8, 2009 she married Thomas Bickford and he survives with Maurissa's daughter, Kierstin Lois Tobias Pemberton, of Sidney, OH. Maurissa is also survived by her parents. On September 14, 2011, they welcomed their son, Noah Patrick Bickford, into their family. Other survivors include a father-in-law, Allan Bickford, of Mansfield, Ohio; sisters, Miranda and husband Christopher Hatton, of Springfield, Jenny and Jason Reyes, of San Antonio, Texas; brother and sister in-law, David and Barbara Bickford, of West Farmington, Ohio; and Jim and Debbie Bickford, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, along with many nieces and nephews. Maurissa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Patricia Ann Bickford. Maurissa graduated from Numonohi Christian Academy, in Papua, New Guinea. She was a housewife. She enjoyed scrapbooking and making jewelry. Her greatest love in life was her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and she will be deeply missed by them all. Noah had touched all of his family and friends in some small way throughout his short, yet memorable life. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and his voice will never be forgotten.
