News Death Notice
PENROSE, Michael "Mike" A. 65, of South Charleston, Ohio passed away Saturday morning, September 12, 2009 in The Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born January 15, 1944 in London, Ohio, the son of Charles and Rebecca (Phillips) Penrose. Mike enjoyed farming and loved spending time with his beloved family. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Survivors include his devoted and caring wife of 47 years, Trudie L. (Farish) Penrose; father, Charles Penrose of South Charleston, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Ami and Marty Elliott of South Charleston, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Julie Penrose of Springfield, Ohio; one brother and sister- in-law, Chuck and Jeanette Penrose of South Charleston, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michael Elliott, Jessica Elliott and Jordan, Rebecca and Raquel Penrose; father-in-law, Hobart Farish of South Vienna; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Trixie Baker of Enon, Ohio and numerous special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Penrose. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Plattsburgh Cemetery. You may express condolences to the family at www.littletonandrue.com
